What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of your teeth to enhance their shape, colour, size and alignment. Crafted from high-quality dental porcelain, they mimic the natural translucency and gloss of real enamel for a result that looks and feels beautifully natural.
At Moonee Ponds Smiles, every veneer is individually designed to suit your smile and facial features. We begin with a complimentary smile consultation so you can explore your options and understand exactly how veneers can transform your smile.
We offer two types of veneers. Porcelain veneers need only minimal enamel reshaping (around 0.3–0.7 mm) and are crafted in a trusted Australian laboratory. Composite veneers are hand-sculpted directly onto your teeth in one to two visits with little to no enamel removal, as a faster, more affordable option. Your dentist will recommend the best choice for your smile and budget.
Why Choose Us?
Our experienced cosmetic dentists combine artistry with Digital Smile Design technology to plan your new smile before treatment even begins, so you know what to expect. We also create trial veneers you can wear for around a week, so you can give feedback before your final veneers are made.
Your veneers are custom crafted in a trusted Australian dental laboratory using premium, stain-resistant porcelain that is designed to last for years with proper care. We offer flexible payment plans and accept all major health funds.

After your visit
Some temperature sensitivity is common in the first few days as your teeth settle and usually eases quickly.
It can take a little time to get used to the feel of your new veneers when biting and speaking.
Your gums may feel slightly tender around newly placed veneers and typically settle within a few days.
While wearing temporary veneers, avoid very hard or sticky foods to keep them in place until your final fitting.
Comfort and confidence improve as you adjust. A quick review appointment lets us check everything feels perfect.
